i use clone motors in my zip... some zip motors dont really fit in bits but with zz's better back end it will fit nearly all motors(i havent found one that wouldnt fit) go for it, then tell me how it performs with the zz's extra wieght

I think I am just going to go with the 3.1 DKShop motor. That should be all the speed i need.

Ok, I think my friend was drunk and/or lying to me because i got a 4.2 and it doesnt wheelie off the line. Sorry for the mistake. And I am running a perfections 3.8 in my zip zap so skylinez 4 ever was wrong they do fit. But the 4.2 is an incredible motor. I flipped my bit backwards one time when i was donig a wheelie. There is just so much torque.

i agree with the icon thing. you should get a higher gear set for super speed.
Actually, a higher gear set means sets like 12:1 and 15:1, while lower gear sets mean something like the KIT gears, 4.57:1, 3.95:1, and 3.43:1. Also higher gear ratios have more torque but less speed. Remember, if you have a high gear set, the torque is awesome but the top speed.....to heck with it. And with lower gear ratios, you have less torque, so it takes a while to hit top speed.....BUT, once it goes to top speed...VROOM VROOM VROOOOOOOOMMM lol I like to go with lower gear ratios and motors that have fast speed and decent torque, like the RCmod Phast motor or the R-spec from this site.
