Need help fast

Alright a few months ago I bought a Mustang Zip Zap. Yesterday I got the 2 fast 2 Furious upgrade kit. I put in the turbo motor and the red gears yet it was slower than my brother's car that had a speed motor and blue gears.

the 2f2f stater kits work way better with 2f2f upgrades than the older cars

The black Stang and the gold Civic are the 2 cars that can go either way being capable to handle the new motors in the 2F&2F kit. That seemed to be the point where they switched the PCB's and it's just a matter of luck getting the upgraded PCB in one of those kits.

Yup, go get the newest model in the display. The 2F&2F cars, the red 350z, or the silver and orange (punkin) 350z. I bought a black Mustang too. It had the 1st gen. PCB in it. Your gonna be amazed at the difference. Then come home and dual cell that old one. Does wonders for it.

I had the same problem. I bought a red stang kit a couple of months ago. I didn't know anything about old or new pcbs. It wouldn't even run my orange motor. I returned it to the store for an orange 350z and it was much faster! I lucked out with my black stang and got the newer pcb in it. It handles all the motors fine. I was bummed about my red one cause I like the body but I ended up buying a red stang shell from my local RS for 2 bucks. They had one in their display case and I asked the guy if he'd sell it to me and he did. As the others said I'd definately go with the red 350Z. If I get another one soon that will be it.

i think it's definitely worth keeping the cars with the older pcb's for modding purposes. prime candidates for dual (or more) cells and other mods that i don't want to do to to my newer cars. the new generation pcb's are fast enough for me without adding power.
