I guess if you don't like contests, it's ok not to enter them. A lot of guys enter just to show what they do have and to see what others got. I can't speak for contests on this board, but I've entered some on others and it's more fun than it is serious. Sure there are guys that got mad skills and dominate mod contests and such, but it's cool just to see people having fun, whatever the skill level. Regardless, contests subject to judging will always be questionable as everyone has there own opinions. Just have fun with what you got, and with what you can do Charlie Brown. Aim to impress yourself and you can't lose.

You can also try the trading forums here at Tiny RC. I picked up one of the celica bodies there. Traded some Zip Zap front wheels and knuckles for it. That didn't cost me anything, had the extra wheels/knuckles layin around! As a matter of fact I may have a RX-7 body, what ya got to trade?

I too have noticed that some stores in and around my area still sell the retired kits. Not sure where you live charliebrown but I live in a rural area but in every town there's a radio shack and some stores I've found sell lots of zips and mostly have all new stock while other shacks it seems dont sell as many and in my experiences have seen the older kits in those stores.I found the american classics bodies in a store in my area a couple weeks ago. I was at the mall in st.louis last weekend and saw the european imports body kit in a radio shack in the mall. They had the spongebob kit marked down as well as the xmen toolkit so apparently in that area they arent as popular. That's all I can understand. Basically what I'm saying is if you can get your folks to drive you to some different RS's you'll probably find they have different stock than your neighborhood store. If you guys go on a trip or vacation this summer try to hit every RS that you see and you just might find what you're looking for, but dont rule out ebay my friend...sometimes you'll be able to buy things a lot cheaper than you think if you'll keep watching, it might take a while but eventually you'll get a deal of a lifetime on there. Good luck dude.

And don't forget the Yahoo Yellow Pages. They'll tell you every Radio Shack within a 1000 miles of you, and you can call them and ask what they have. You might get lucky.

Hmm....so you're saying that some of you may have some of the old retired F&F kits? So does anyone have any spare F&F kits? I'd like the shells and spoilers, hubs, suspension bars, and the trading cards. Please? I'd appreciate it SO MUCH thanks!!!

Umm they are worth a LOT....I will give you my NX motor and my 27 mhz controller without the screw for it. 2 items for one, how is that? Also I'll consider giving you a 100 mah NIMH battery and a 50 mah NiCD battery. I'll give you some of these items for the green eclipse with the spoiler and the wing and hubs and cards.

Do you have any stabilizer bars or suspension springs you'd be willing to trade? I'm noy really interested in your motor or controller, and those 2 batts for a body is not to fair. Post anything you'd trade for the body and all the stuff and i'll tell you if i'm interested. Or maybe some stuff and a few dollars. LMK

here is a system:

Decide how much points your shell, spoilers/hubs are worth. Make a list of everything you could want and how much points they are worth. I will find somethings that are worth the same points as your shell and we'll trade.

EX: Let's say your shell is 5 points cuz it's rare, and I have a layman's tricell (remember, this is only an example) that's 2 points to you and I have a few springs that are worth .5 points each. Let's say I have 4 springs and that's 2 more points. I give you 2 more springs and we're set! How's that type of system sound?
