Well, I've got a no-name Sig Sauer P228, a heavyweight HFC Glock 33 and my bro has a Tokyo Marui mini electric AUG. Does that count as being "into airsoft"? hehe. I'm only interested in springers, but airsoft is hard to come by in Canada, I got one pistol siezed by customs, and I'll never get anything airsoft from the US again. As the song goes "Blame Canada!" ^_^

yes
Yea, i'm pretty into airsoft, or I was/have been. I haven't bought a gun in a while, maybe saving up for a upgraded CA M24. Anyway right now I have a broken TM M3 Benelli, CA MP5A2 V.2 AEG, KSC Glock 18C GBB w/ metal barrel, slide, upgraded valve, and spring return rod. Also own a springer mp5sd3. that's about it. I suggest going to www.airsoftzone.com and do their discussion boards...haven't looked at them in a while though.
What guns do you have?

I was kinda leaning towards gettin the Magnum Research AE .50 pistol a.k.a. Desert Eagle. But I decided in the end it would probably only supply at max, an hour of good, clean fun; I find that I have no time to waste chasing squirrels and threatening friends with the plastic bb shooter, although the results can cause a loud OUCH.
As I wait for my Bit to arrive, I'm hoping this will be a fun thing to do, I want to get into customizing the body ASAP!

I would if they weren't so damn expensive.
I just spend a few extra bucks and buy the real thing.

are you talking about my skyline micro rs4? the GTR on the hood?
It came with the kit. It also comes with 2 more, but you had to cut it to fit around the back, which I wasn't at all bothered to do...
you might be able to find the skyline decal set...somewhere......

The last Glock I bought was $325. Used Glocks go for around $350 here. Don't worry I guarantee you won't wear one out (so does Glock).
A friend of mine bought a spring loaded airsoft Glock at a gun show. It was entertaining for about 3 minutes.
When the gas version dips below $100 I'll think about it.
Since 9mm is less than $10 per 100 box and I have a range down the street. I'll stick with lead for now.

ya, but what did you do with the spring glock? and if you only have one, airsoft really isn't that much fun since the entire point is to skirmish like paintball. why not paintball then, you ask? because paintball guns sometimes can cost more even that a real gun. the priciest I have seen was around $1200 and no I'm not joking. so if you just sat around and shot at cans and stuff then airsoft isn't that thrilling. but when you have a skirmish and shoot at other people, its alot more fun. especially since most airsoft guns can pack a good welt if you hit bare skin. and you can use them indoors since you don't make paint splatters on the walls like paintball guns do the element of having semi automatic and fully automatic fire with the more pricey guns also adds to the rush (plus you can get 1000 plastic BBs for around 6$). sure, shooting at the range with your 9mm is cool to, but can you shoot other people with it? well, I guess all I have to say is that, some people like airsoft, and some people don't. If you still don't like airsoft after trying skirmishing with them, than stick with bit char-g which is in my opinion just as good if not better than airsoft
sorry about my 3000 word lecture
