As long as RS continues to sell and support the old models I don't care what happens with the new ones. I would also like to see the controllers and cars sold separately from each other. That way when I want the body tops that come with certain starter kits I don’t have to get another controller. I could pave a highway with all the controller’s I have.

Ok, to go along with what Todd and Aphrael have said, I had a chance to talk with a manager at one of the local RSs as I picked up my red 350z yesterday. His bosses had just got back from RS HQ and were shown the 2.0zzs. He said they were very impressed and that they would be out around Christmas for $30. He didn't know the intricate details but he did know that. He also alluded to the fact that they were also going to be offering a larger rc, the Xmod and that expect them to start selling micro copters before too long.
I also seem to have read somewhere that there was a possibility that the original zzs were going to be moved out of the US to be sold in Canada and overseas as soon as the 2.0s were out. I'm not sure how much truth there is in that but interesting.

Why they would want to keep this top secret is beyond me, obviously the hardcore fans already know.

I think buy now those that want ZipZaps have already bought them, not only that but unlike in the past the current line up has been over stocked. If they were smart they would just announce the new cars and reduce the price of the existing ones to $14.99 to clear out the stock.

Believe it or not there are still plenty of people that don't know about zip zaps. I bet there's atleast 5 people a week that walk into rs for whatever and see these lil cars and ask "What are those?".
I'm with you on the reducing the price thing, which I'll bet rs will do as soon as or just before the 2.0s come out. Then again seeing as they're supposed to be offering them out of the states maybe they won't reduce the price.

Hello Again,
Thank you for your response.
RadioShack is continually upgrading the ZipZaps product line. We will
be offering new ZipZaps in the future. But as previously stated, we do not
have additional information on the future products.

I'm all for the new Zips and look foreward to the improvements. I just hope they continue to support the existing Zips or at the least make the new ones interchangable with the existing bodies, etc. I myself have invested a lot of time and money in my current Zips.
I would really like to see them produce more bodies for the existing Zips like normal paint schemes on regular cars like Corvettes, Vipers, etc. You get the idea. I would REALLY like to see transparent bodies for custom paint jobs.

Hi , I want to know your ideas about the transparent bodies......
You want a branded transparent body e.g. a transparent 350Z and paint yourself ; or you want a non-brand ordinary passenger car in transparent body??
And do you and others have any other suggestions?

I would just like to see them offer transparent bodies of all the cars they release sorta like Microsizers do. I would liuke them to release more bodies based on factory cars like Corvettes, Vipers, etc. with the factory paint schemes. I'm just not into these flashy designs like what is on the Fast & Furious stuff.
