Brake Cooler Mod
Hay everone

I have done a little mod to my skyline....

Well the other day I was trying to do that staple intercooler mod but the staples kept breaking apart while i was trying to cut them (stupid glue ) and i just got fedup (well until i get some proper glue)!


I then tried a little mod of my own that was a bit like the intercooler mod !


OK on the skyline (for anyone whos got it or knows what i looks like) there is two little black squares either side that hole in the body where the front clip thing goes into......

(sorry i dont know the technical terms lol )


Yeah well where those two black squares are i have put some flywire (that mesh stuff on some doors) over them to look like little air intake things !

It maybe a usesless mod but it looks pretty good!

or cut the lil squares and stick the mesh on the inside???

I just glued it over the black squares.....


I mite scrape the black paint of though.....

It's pretty cool. Does it come in other colors, because most of my cars are black.

Yeah i thought that might be a bit of a problem about the color

Hmm.... I think you might be able to get silver flywire......Or just paint tha black stuff !


My cutting wasnt to good (same with my gluing) but i might try again a bit later and get it perfect

I am going to see how the flywire looks over the front tab today sometime....

I'm a bit annoyed at the moment though because i've lost my spoiler !


Argh well those things happen


Maybe some more pics if flywire looks good over the front tab.....

That looks pretty neat-o, what if you put it behind the hole? so that it looks like a real mesh covering for an intake.

Yeah i know a lot more about real cars now and people have the mesh there to cool the brakes not for intake

Anyways i might start posting a bit (no pun intended) more, my last post was ages ago
