I've spent over a hundred dollars on KIT Racer cars for parts alone!
Not one regret.

After seeing your civic with the Kit wheels, I have spent my fair share of money on Kit parts too. They have a nice solid, clean look. Thanks strider!

True, True, I've seen a few of those threads.
Let me see what I've spent on official zip products.
8 starters = $160
4 barrier kits = $40
2 pit cases = $20
1 tire hub cap set = "?"
2 cone and barrel kits =$4
The F&F bodykit = "?"
The F&F street tuner kit = "?"
American favorites body kit ="?"
German imports body kit ="?"
The 2F2F tuner kit = $13
The 2F2F body kit ="?"

I'm sure I'm forgeting a bunch here and I'ld apreciate some help on the "?"s.
Add to that sales tax and all of the tools and parts for all of the mods and it should easily double.

My bit collection is nearly twice this

That's what sucks for me!
I seem to kill 'em as fast as I get 'em so that even when obtaining more, I still seem to have about half a dozen working cars at any given time!
Although my latest loss was due to someone wanting the car, not attrition for a change.
I got a junky dome clone as part of the deal, but there's my point, breaking even.
Only the parts box seems to grow!
