When i said " it won't be seen much" i meant in the WRC because they have pulled out to improve the car. BTW that is an EVO 8 in ur last pic

IMO, Evo 7's look better than Evo 8's... I don't like the thing that the mitsu symbol is on on the 8's.... but, i love evo 7's!!!

yes i am aware its an evo 8. both of the cars were the 8's (#1 and #6 in the video i believe) i believe that that event was the debut for the evo 8. I have worked on these things all my life.. when mitsu comes back to WRC it will be in a revamped 8. the only reason that they hit the states as rally cars so soon was for the release of the evo 8 here. those two cars toured the states in a couple weeks hitting huge mitsu dealers all along the way... Subaru has done the same thing with the new sti even though the sti will probably never rally... (they just take the hood scoop)
look at subaru... the rally car will only use the 2.0 liter engine due to restrictions. its kinda funny... the 2.0 liter rally engine puts out as much hp as the 2.5 sti that they are now selling in the states..

Yea, I was reading somethin about that. Apparently there are lots of general performance advantages to using the 2.5 in the STi. I'll try and find that link again.

Also, remeber that the rally cars only need to run through a race, not nearly as long as a commercial car. If you really want to squeeze hp out of the 2.0, just strap on one of those huge turbos that make 400hp, though your engine probably won't run very long.

Here's my car:

It's my first custom paint job that came out good. (I only painted 2 other cars, and they came out bad

). This is the normal yellow one, just nice and masked up. Only problem is that the side grills i forgot to mask so got a little whitened. Whatever, black touchup should solve that. Whatcha think?
