The front tires are the same size as the front of bit tires, so I'm sure those would work fine also. You need to chop off some plastic around the wheels on the chassis because otherwise they're rub. I just used an X-ato, no big deal. I'll try to get some more detailed pics of where I cut for u.

HAs anyone "sliced" diamond tracks in the tires yet ( tread)?
Btw...how would you guys compare the bodies to other Micro's out there? The Evo is damn nice imo...........
Over the last 6 mos. (?) we have received "new" Motorworks cars..."new" Zip Zaps , "new" Bits/Sizers , new Tomy R/C Club cars, "new" NKOK 64x Chargez and now these. With the Muscle Machine micro R/C's on the way its obvious *someone* still feels as though the market is still ripe for growth. I wonder what the next advance will be for te 1/64th and smaller r/c's? The design ...despite a minor change with these Fast and Furious cars ( hole in the middle of the PCB) has pretty much stayed the same across the boards. On the other hand the quality of the bodies seems to be impoving. The Muscle Machines look QUITE NICE and these truly scale Fast and Furious cars are probably the best bodies to date in the micro line.
If the body transplants are as easy as i asume they will be on these pan chassis 2F2F micro r/c's and i can hard wire a different motor ....i dont see why these arent the best to date. They are already superior to the Zips ( no rounded edge bodies with some what cartoonish proportions) and the Bit Char G's ( well....equal...you sacrifice traction for the true scale which is a good trade off in my opinion. Trust,...the traction isnt that bad).

I was modding my "FF " walmart clone for slot car tires. In the process 2 of the 4 front steering wires broke off the pcb. The 2 that broke are gold and hair thin...........anyone know where on the pcb these go? thanks!

I still think the motorworks are the best. Add another cell and they fly!

Has anyone located tires that will stick more effectively that are the SAME scale as the stock tires?
These cars are bomb. BTW ....Azimov did you rae this car on a track yet? I havent been able to touch mine for the last week and a half.....
Lets PRAY they release more.....
ALso...someone mentioned adding a dab of super glue to prevent "slippage".....how exactly did this "help" your car?
Has anyone done any body transplants yet?

Yup, ran them around the track many times. I've got those new tires on there now and the cars handle much better. The boost is amazing but usually puts me on the barriers. My 49Mhz car is a blast, but my 27 drifts to the right no matter what I do and I've tried everything. I planned to get another to replace it and put the new wheels on it, but Wally only had two left. One that had been opened and destroyed and the other was a 49Mhz. So, I'm waitin to see if they get more.

I was taking about the super glue (I think). I was saying when you transplant wheels if you use different pins to put into the knuckles sometimes they don't fit- so you just put a dab of glue on the other side so they stay in.

Azimov....hows the head to head racing ( if you have racedit against someone else)? If not ...how does it handle on the track in comparison to the scrunch bodies ( bits) or Zips? Are you racing on cardboard/linoleum/particle board?
Finally the wekend is here..maybe ill get a chance to run it again....
These cars must be the "silent" hit. I have seen empty displays or displays with one or 2 cars left. I suppose i shouldnt be surprised though...pan chassis..dual cell...SCALE BODY...booster....the only drawback i see is the lack of hop ups but most of us mod anyway. Im sure someone will hard wire a new motor in the gear box. SPEAKING of which...Azimov is the motor the same size as the scrunchy or zip motors?

I haven't had a chance to do any head to head racing yet, but the cars handle pretty good. The scale size and long wheel base make them fairly easy to run around the track. They handle better than the scrunched versions, similar to a Zip I guess. My track is painted plywood with pretty good grip. The new tires keep the car stuck to the track pretty good. The only complaints I have is the really noisy gear box and the controller set up. I put toggles on my Zip controllers, which I like much better. But, you can't do that on these controllers with seperate buttons. I only have two thumbs and find it difficult to steer while I press the forward button and try to hit the turbo button at the same time. This is hard enough to do on wide open lenoleum, and is even harder on a tight technical course. It would have been better to put the turbo button on the side of the controller, so you can hit it with an index finger. Well, you could put toggles, but it would require a lot of crap affixed to the face of the controller.

It seems to be the same size. It's hardwired like a Motor Works motor. I haven't got out a ruler on the thing, but from just looking, it seems the same size as all the rest.

Changing the button setup should be fairly easy ...at least it seems as though it would be after all the mods i haveperformed in the past. I glad to hear it performs better than the scrunchies in your opinion as it gives me even more ammunition when i try to convince myself not to buy more Micro's ( at least MS/BCG...ill be buying plenty of these an MM's).
Last but not least ...you mentioned that you placed another body on the chassis ( i think you did) ...how did you affix ( ill figure it out but if you have already done it even better) the body? Do you have any pics?
I dont know about you guys but i am mildly hyped in regard to these cars..the closest thing to scale ( if not actual scale) to date and they look SWEET. AND they have turbo!

No, I haven't put another body on one of these cars. I have several JL slot car bodies that are much smaller than Zips and I tried fitting a couple to the Awesome car. I didn't have much luck as the PCB in the cars is very large and won't fit up into the top passenger area of the new bodies like a Zip conversion will. A van, wagon, or SUV might work much better. I'm still trying to fit one of these as it would be a nice conversion. I have six muscle car bodies and have already eliminated three of the coolest ones as candidates. I just can't get them low enough on the chassis.
