help me plz
my 350z with rspec squeeks when it goes
i have taken it apart and it squeeks with the orange gear on but without it doesnt. if anyone has had this problem and can help me it will be much appreciated.
ps the rubbing is slowing the car alot

could be -
some "flash" (extra plastic) stuck on the back of the gear.
teeth on orange gear are bad.
pinion gear is chewed up.
what pinion gear are you using (white, black or green), and which way is it turned (flat part in or flat part out)?

black pinion it is turned flat part out but i have tried it other way the teeth look alright. could it be the metal bar that goes in the orange gear

i really think the problem is the motor itself. with the stock motor the car doesnt squeek. can someone plz help. the turbo is now barely any faster than the unboosted

does you motor sound like this?
if so, it's probably the motor - thats what it was in my case.

ya mine is identical to that. what did u do to fix it?
or am i screwed cuz that was my second r-spec i had to return the first one it went bad in 2 days

no fix, it was dead. I had to send it back and have it replaced.

was urs an r-spec also? what is the matter with the r-specs both of them worked good for 2 days then die.that sucks. thanks anyway though.

thanks to anyone who helped me out on this problem i took motor out and put the stock one back in now there is no squeeking. thanks alot

naw, my wasn't an r-spec - it was from bitchar-gmotors before the aquisition.
they replaced it and all was good.
