Best motors for course type...
Here is a list of the best race course applications for each motor type, in my opinion only. For those others out there who have tested most of these on similar courses, does this sound correct to you? I want to know if everyone has the same conclusions, or if they have found better or more versatile applications for the diff motor types...
A nice guy named Klem makes several motors in 'other' speeds than what is listed here, but I unfortunately dont have those, so I could not rate them. Maybe you guys can post what they work best with. ZIpZaps have 2.4 motors too...
1.0 (blue) - parallel parking & obstacle course
1.6 (green dragon rotor) - Multisurface track & elevated terrain
2.2 (yellow) - Tight track lots of turns
2.6 (orange) - wider track less turns
3.0 (red lucifer rotor) - oval type tracks only
3.8 (pinkslip rotor)- Sim. Qtr. Mile Drag Racing!!!
Only the first five motors listed are genuine Tomy motors. The 3.8 is available in two flavors... Custom-made KC Special (US - green) and the OEM Pink Slip Rotor (HK - Pink).

BitChar-G motors? Help?!
Kyle,
Would you or anyone who owns the other unique speeds you guys produce, post thier best applications in terms of race course type, in your experience or opinion? I would like to maybe do a little article on it at QuestForMadness.com but the article wouldnt be complete unless it included your unique speed motors.
Thanks,
QFM

QFM,
You might want to add how the Gearing sets (12:1, 9.85:1, etc...) play into the Motor performance as well. That would make a NICE matrix!

QFM,
The only speed I produce that isn't on your list is the 3.2 motor. It's great for shorter drag race tracks because it gets off the line quicker than the the 3.8, but has more top end speed than the 3.0. I agree with the applications you've listed for the other speeds.
I personally feel that the 2.6 is the fastest motor for OEMs and the Zip Zaps. These cars need the extra torque produced by the 2.6 to get moving from a dead stop. I know some people are running 3.8s in their OEM cars but I've had people send back 3.8s because they just wouldn't work well for them. The Tomy Bit Char-g and Hobbico Microsizers run all the speeds very well.
