sweeeeet! Thanx Takumi!
Oh and quick question up for anyone currently reading, what do ya'll think of Turbo Magazine? I've seen it and read a few of the articles in it and seems cool. I don't necessarily plan to subscribe to it seeing as how it costs the same but is like 1/8 of the amount of content that's in other magazines, I just mostly wanted to get opinions on it.
hmmmmmm......also...lately I've been thinking (again....dangerous past time for me BTW ) about my possible upcoming purchase of the xB and I've been contemplating my options that I have with my current vehicle. Basically, I can either trade it in (or sell it) or I can keep it and have it as a "try all the performance modifications on it that I was afraid to do before" vehicle. Of course, financially if I choose the later I'll have to wait a while before purchasing the xB to save up some more dough as a down payment. Then of course there's insurance payments on both vehicles...hmmmm...so I guess what I'm asking for is opinions, tips, thoughts on what you would do or what you think would be the best course of action. I'm personally leaning more towards trading/selling the truck because of the financial aspect of it (and I don't exactly have the highest paying job to boot) but would gladly welcome input from others!

yeah that's kinda along the lines I was a'thinkin'! Just wanted to get some input from others. Anyone else care to make a donation to the knowledge base?
And it's a 1997 Ford Ranger XLT 2.3L. Only has about 76000 miles on it. Still runs pretty good....though if I'm trading it in I'll need to put a stock muffler back on and remove the intake I put on there (which usually will turn off most if not all car dealerships).

Shadowmage, that's really a personal choice to make but for what it's worth, here's my 2 cents.
First thing to consider is what the truck is worth. Don't really know too much about trucks so I can't say but you can always get a decent estimate from the Kelley Blue Book value, NADA and Emunds. If you're thinking of getting rid of it to help finance the bB, unless the dealer knocks off extra from the price of the bB, trading into a dealership is usually the worst(lowest) value option since the dealer won't give you fair value as they want to be able to make a profit selling it. They just offer the service for people who can't be bothered to take the time to sell the vehicle themselves.
As I've mentioned, the main concerns here are your personal finances. How much is selling the truck going to help with financing the bB? How much longer would you have to wait if you didn't sell it. How much will the insurance be for both vehicles? (bearing in mind that there is a discount for insuring multiple vehicles) The simplest way to make the decision is to consider if it's worth it to sell the truck, OR if you can really afford at this time to own 2 vehicles. Unless you're rolling in money (in which case you probably wouldn't even have posed this question), you're going to have to sacrifice something.
As for me, I've certainly found advantages to having 2 cars. Insurance is pretty high but I managed to work out an interesting deal, seeing how my agent is AAA. The more you insure with them the cheaper the rates get, so I've got both my cars insured and I got renter's insurance as well which works out to be free. Actually adding the renter's insurance reduced the total sum to less than I would have paid just for insurance for the 2 cars.
The advantage to 2 cars is obviously the fact that I can still drive one around while I'm rebuilding/working on/modifying the other. Also, living in Michigan, although the VR-4 is AWD, it has very little ground clearance, so although it can be driven in snow, it can't be driven in very much of it, so I have the Golf to drive around in when there's a significant amount of snow. (Would prefer to have a J-spec Evo) Of course, being single I have less bills to pay and my job sees me through all right.

Coo'! Thanks for the input all! And yeah I think I've definitely decided to sell the truck if/when the time comes to purchase the xB. Mostly financial reasons as it costs more to maintain two vehicles...amongst other factors but that's probably the main one. Oh and any of you know where, or hear of any place that sells the Power Enterprise supercharger for the bB here in the states please tell me. Or outside the states...but preferably within.
Speaking of xBs and all, has anyone seen these? Supposedly Scion/Toyota was giving them out to reporters at the promo shows (as well as handing out caps, tshirts, keychains, etc.). It's a remote control xB and xA. Just curious as to whether anyone else had seen them before?
