Steering spring replacement.
I recently lost one of my steering springs (damnit!) and I need a replacement. I do not want to buy one, or buy stuff to make one, unless it mught be around my house or garage. I tried making one, but failed miserabely.
I would like instructions to make one, and I really need this to continue on my project.

Hmm, that link doesn't seem to work, this one might work though: http://tinyrc.com/qfm/racing/mod_05.htm
I tried that actually, but I failed at it miserabely. Are there any other ways I wan make one?

I've heard you can make it out of guitar chords. What I was thinking if you glue 2 small normal spring on the side. Make sure they are equal length and they are putting pressure on the steering arm where it won't affect turning ability.

Cool! There are some in the basement, I was looking at them and was gonna use them for Legos, I guess not, my plan failed. And they are not springy at all, would that really work?

I don't know if you need a certain string made out of a certain material. Ask a music guy.

Nah, I'll just use something else aside from guitar string.
