Why Clones are Better (or Not)!

Pro's for Clones being better:

1) Cheaper to buy (usually)

2) Have more powerful motors (usually)

3) Not afraid to modify or cut-up (see #1)

4) Hop-up parts for Bits interchange (usually)

5) Very cool stickers

6) Better range (usually)

7) Better controllers

Pro's for Bits/MicroSizers being better:

1) Better & consistant quality of manufacture

2) No ugly stickers

3) Cooler bodies, molded in clear plastic (Impreza WRX, 2000GT-R, Trueno, Buses, etc...)

4) Gold rims for WRX ('nuff said!)

5) Better controllers

What are your thoughts and favorites?

John

This isn't a slam either way- I love all of my cars; Bits & Clones.

Argh..if anything the 2-speed is a con. I thin it s is cheap and a waist of extra money. The first speed is super slow and the second speed is fast....but not super fast like it shold be

my rallyracer clone is faster, smoother, and quieter than any microsizer i have ever seen. and i only paid $12.99. it feels and sounds just like a micro RC10. tomy is just an overpriced conglomerate.

Tell ya what I love my Panther Chariots. They just flat out handle better than the bits I've bought. Plus the charge lasts 3X as long.

The stickers and paint jobs can be changed but you simply can't beat the price. And you can interchange all the parts with bits.

I get them for $12 at a mall near me, compared with $35 for a microsizer, with all the extra frequencies.
