Question SE battery swap! charging Qs

I am about to swap an se battery into a normal ZZ. I will also make a stand alone charger using an extra controller. Would the swapped se battery be able work with the charger's 2 AAAs directly? Should I remove a AAA? Is there anything else I should do or know before I try this? I recently put another zz out of its misery attempting this, and I really dont want to ruin a new one.

thanks for your time

You need to use 4 AAAs to charge the SE battery for the time limit built into the charger. Or, you can use two AAAs and charge twice as long.

I was talking about making a stand alone charger by removing the pcb.

heres my stand alone.....and a dual cell

just an idea. i built this out of a zip contoller cap. the led is just for fun and is not needed.also 1 se battery wont give you much of a difference as two 1.2v as well wont last as long, weight balance, i prefer the extra weight in the back, 2.4 internal swap alows it to be really light in the rear, unless mounted perp. to the engine.
