Winding question

When decreasing winds on a motor, do unwind the entire thing then rewind it to your preference?

You don't unwind the entire thing...

If you want to cut the wires off the comms, you can. Just unwind them however many turns you need, then solder them back at the comms they came from. Be sure to take off the same amount of winds from each leg...

If you unwind it, then you can rewind it tighter and you should get a performance increase.

Actually, I think I've been going that route after taking that very same advice from you - lol

Your laziness is contagious!

You need a tutorial to show you how to snip a wire, unwind it a few turns, and solder it back where it came from to begin with?...
