You would probably need a separate 9 volt power source to physically power a solenoid to press and release the forwards button at variable speeds. In order to make it operate smoothly, it would probably have to press and release at least 100 times per minute...a process which would probably wear out your controller.
However, pulse circuit is something different.
Anyway, install for this unit will require at the very least a decent amount of soldering. So I don't think its really a single drilled hole and a part. Just to keep everyone down to earth.
