lithium ion and lithium polymer rechargeables are dangerous. burn your house down dangerous. water speeding the reaction dangerous. a jet of white hot plasma shooting out of them dangerous.

that said i use lipo whenever i can. the mah, v, wt, and sz are unsurpassed.

if you hack apart a celphone charger to charge lithium with be careful to match charger output ma with the battery size. a 250 mah lithium can only be charged at 250 mah or less. or it will explode and burn uncontrollably. same thing can happen with a fully charged lithium battery if accidentally shorted. or charged after discharging below 3v per cell.

this is not stuff for kids to play with. even smart kids that are patient and knowledgeable.

please have your parents help you if you are under 16.

and charge in a ceramic pot outside your house.
