Are you positive you cut out the componant that was referenced in this thread? Be sure to verify that your powwer wires to the motor were not also cut or broken, because that is where the capicitor...

I have found that small carbide bits work best on dremmels when doing precise work on these cars. The carbide will not chatter, and it gets warm enough to actually melt the plastic while cutting.
