How wide should the tracks be?

The Xmods site uses a lot of 5' PVC. I was wondering what you guys think minimum, and average track width should be. Like, a 6" width track wouldn't be any fun, and neither would a 10' wide track.

Cool. Even the Civic is a rear wheel drive car (common chassis).

So with a stage 2 upgrade I can do some seriously stylish drifting... eh?

range compared to mini Z

Since the XMODS use a 9v (=6cells), and MiniZ's use 8 cells, it would seem that XMODS have a shorter range, but a less expensive cost to operate.

What have people experienced as far as range goes?

I'm totally new to this. I saw an Xmods and decided to research. Then found out about Mini Z's. So now I'm hunting for Mini Z's... but they seem harder to find.
