Yup...

Minnesota here! :)

didn't really see anything either even inside or the manual. It does seem to run it faster than the zips' turbo though.

Re: Motor Works Car???

And for $13.88... I wouldn't call it junk. It's better (build) quality than those SuperRacing ones. The bodies fit better and when you look at the PCB the solder points are cleaner.

that's true...

I have 2 of those walmart motorworks and has been through a lot of abuse from my 2 year old and it's still running (have had it now for more than a week).

He loves how the controller is too. It's...

not true...

I actually get more than 50ft indoors and meant 20 feet is the maximum that I actually use it in due to the track layout.

That is with a 3ft antenna on both 27 and 49.

Maybe that is true that...

it's just a test

I mean it's something to try. :)

You guys can do the antenna mod on the cars - I just wanted to do the controller.

It's not that I'm going to control the car 100 ft away. I've never really gone...

that's typical

When it sputters (signal loss), it means that you have gone past the maximum range for control. Just don't go past the distance that you can control the zip properly.

I'm going to try and put a 6...

Radioshack by me has a bunch of blue and black civics!

speed and tires

the motor speed is less on the ZZ than on the bit/ms and the tires on the bit/ms have no treads.

Control and handling improves when the motor is not as fast and your tires can grip well.

Work quality on these things are very sloppy! not worth the $20 I paid for each. Just wanted the diff mhz though and I was able to fix the steering problem by fixing the magnet and also cleaning up...

This is an inkjet printer label - a full sheet. It's the cheapest I could find from the web.

i have one...

never really worked right the first time.

Not sure where it is anymore.

I don't think it was a hollowed out body from what I remember. It's a solid blob.

Thanks. I like the way they turned out. The antenna mod worked very well for me for all my zips.

The clones that I have still have some tweaking to be done esp. the steering.

The MicroSizers...

My son and I have been playing with them on some hotwheels tracks! Pretty neat when you have the banks on them to. It works pretty well and fits them perfectly. Just can't build them to high.

... the antenna mod using a replacement antenna from radioshack doesn't require any soldering (it uses a small screw).

All the details are on the other posts...
