Will the old motors work on the new SE's?

I plan to buy the shelby GT500, and I was wondering if the old motors will still work on this car, because it looks like they changed the motors up.

As far as I know the difference in price doesn't necessarily mean a difference in the quality of the car or anything. Just in case, though, look on the side of the box to see what motor and gear set...
