I think that by hardwired he means that the motor is soldered to the car, and not snapped on like the regular ZZs and Bits/clones we're used to.

I had the same problem with my Microsizer... Tried adjusting the little steering spring but it didn't help much. I think this is an inherent problem with such small scale cars; slight imprecisions...
