I've painted my bodies from the outside. But try Liquid Mask, you should be able to find it at any local hobby store.

You just paint it on with a brush, about 2-3 coats. Let it dry, then paint...

If any thing its a good way to get a 2.2 or 2.6 motor depending on which one you buy. Plus extra heat sink, battery, tires, and decals.

But the gears really blow for the Bits.
