i bought at 2.6 mottor and it goes slower than the stock(2.2)motor. or i think it just accelerates slower. can some one tell my if it really does go slower

yesterday i was driving on my desk and i drove my car off the edge. then it didn't work ,after 10 min it started steering but no gas or reverse then 5 min later it works .what happed?
