The mod you linked reverses the booster button on a TX that already has one. The button is held down for low speed. You get high speed when the button is released. Saves having to hold the button...

Thought about adding a weight to the button....

Thought about adding a weight to the button. Would have to be "just right" to allow the hook to fire. Pressing lightly on the button with my finger just hung things up till I let go.

The only Fit (SH*T) Racer I have didn't have to motor wired in either. Would not have mattered. The chassis, wheels, tires was the poorest quality I've seen in a clone.

There is a mechanical button on the top of the hook shooter that needs to be pressed to engage the spindle so the hook can be reeled back in.

The firing force is not controlled by the weapon...

1. It's HUGE! Looks ridiculous on the front of a wild.
2. Ass ugly dark red color (what's wrong with black?).
3. Shoots only about 3-4 inches.

The wilds are OK stock. They are not supposed to be fast as the bits. I don't "get" the obssesion with raw speed with the wilds and the cars. The bits don't handle well enough for anything faster...

What are the markings on the chip? Should be RX2C or RX2B. The C version may work. The B will not. I've never see a chipped RX that used the C version. Good luck and post your observations.
