Are u sure that it was set on the charger the right direction? the negative on the charger to the negative of the 1st bat? and the pos of the charger to the pos of the 3rd?

The clone u are talking about sounds like a motorworks and they charger from it takes 3 AAAs. I have used it to charge my dual cell mod. i just do 2 or 3 consecutive charges.

i was told u could make a steering coil with magnetic wire.

Is this true? how would u wrap it neat enough and make it stick together?

I was thinking about making a sewing machine attachment...
