what i did was take part of a match and slide...

what i did was take part of a match and slide through an opening in the center near the axle as described in the pic. make sure the match goes over the axle, not under it. so far it works very well....

i'm glad this solution has helped many with their axle slippage and what not. its one of the easiest and cheapest mods to fixing the axle. actually it probably wouldn't cost anything at all since...

the problem with the 3.25:1 gearing is that there is not enough torque to get you going. and you need a long enough straight a way just to reach maxium speed. your better off pairing the r-spec motor...

yeah i noticed that all the clones came with the pinion gear mounted backwards on the motors. i think its done to prevent some kid from losing the idler gear if he/she takes off the axle.
