I will give you that two cells @ 10C ratings with different mAh ratings, the higher mAh rated battery will outperform the lower one.

Just about impossible to say since he doesn't provide the specs for the motor. I would say though, that that motor looks like a piece o' crap with a capacitor soldered to it. I would stay away.

What do you mean by this ? mAh has nothing to do with increasing power. Higer mAh = longer runtime, higher voltage and discharge rating = speed/torque/power. A 3000mAh cell will NOT give more power...
