my steering stopped working and i have no idea why

Today after I installed my new black rims set, a new motor, and rare earth magnet on my Bit Char-g my steering stopped functioning properly. The magnet still responds, but when the front end is completely assembled the most I can get from the steering is a very minute twitch. The motor responds perfectly, everything is fine except for the steering.

I have double checked all the wiring and connections and everything seems proper, and like I stated earlier the magnet still responds. I've tried using the original stock parts with the front end, axles and all. Same results, a barely noticeable twitch.

What the hell is going on? I have no idea what to do next, any help will be more than welcomed :) And I will supply any pictures if needed, thanks again.

Andrew

PS - If it makes a difference I removed the sway bar some time ago, but even then the steering still worked perfectly prior to today's "upgrades."

did you make sure......

1.the magnet is in there pefect strait
2. the nuckles are in the steering thingy the right way?

my hunch is the magnet is backwards.flip the polarity and i bet it works fine.

thanks a lot hogjowlz, that was exactly the problem. I totally forgot about testing the polarity, even when the article at QFM specicially mentioned it.

Thanks again!
