can u put dual batteries in microsizers
Can u have 2 batteries in microsizers and how do wire it ?:D
|
Of course you can install two batteries!! You'll need to solder a wire from the negative terminal on the car to the negative side of the second battery. Then solder a wire from the positive side of the second battery to the negative side of the first battery. You can leave the positive side of the first battery like it is. Be sure to put an insulator in between the negative contact on the car an the negative end on the first batteryso they don't short out the second battery. As an insulator you could rap the neg. side of the first battery with electrical tape over you solder connection. This mod can be done with 2 NiCD or 2 NiMH batteries. Just be sure you don't mix a NiCD and a NiMH battery. For a little more visual aid, try www.questformadness.com Have Fun!!

whats the diffrence does the batterie type make?

The NiMH batteries hold a longer charge than the Nicd do.I also believe they pump a little more power to the motor. I bought a small dual battery mod kit off of Ebay. It contained 2 NiMH, extra hook-up wire, a 4 AA cell battery pack, heat shrink for the second battery, and a NOS sticker..hahaha. Also for a dual battery mod you would be better off removing the charge station from the controller, and rigging it up to another power source. (ie: the 4AA cell batt. pack) The 2AA that are in the controller don't supply enough juice to properly charge a dual battery car. You won't have the timing LED to tell you when to take the car off of the charger so don't charge the dual batt. car on a stand alone charger for more than 2 minutes.

You have to have the 4AA batt charger or it will not work well.
