What is the best set up for drifting, spring stiffness, soft, medium, stiff. Tie rod degrees, 1.5, 3, 4.5. :p

well u want drift tires of some sort. soft in front and hard springs in back i believe. and a must is 4 wheel drive. 4.5 degrees would give u the smalest turning radius, i stick with 1.5 tho becuase it makes it easier to center the wheels and go straight if u want to get up some speed. some people lock there read differential, i never tried it tho and dont plan on it.the gearing should use the torque intesive. if u dont have a stage 2 upgrade the stock will do. droping the ride height helps also. theres alot about drifting on this forum look around and try a search.

for my car which i can drift quite well.i use a stage 2 with max torque gears drift tires 4 wheel drive, hard in back soft in front springs. and thats all i think anyone really needs.

thanks. i have drift tires, 4wheel drive, stage 2 drift motor with magnet upgrade, and suspension kit ( stiff shocks in the front and medium in the back).

that sould be fine. if i were u i would change the shocks around but it dosnt make that much of a difference. the rest is just practice.

I find that stiffer shocks in front help my steering. They don't affect my drifting. However the dust and dirt on the floor do very much. You'll have that. ;(

lock the rear diff 4 a damn good drifter
