ss fully loaded charging problems
 

hi i just bought my ss fully loaded and it is not charging... no light is going on or anything. please help me fix this!

alright i had this problem before an i think i know exactly wrong.
1st. r u using rechargables battery? if yes it wont work for sum reason.
2nd. are the batteries new? if its not then get new ones because those might not hold a big enough charge.

for the ssfl i dunno why but all i could use is alkaline batteries. no nicad or nimh. lets try lithiums :D

I had this same problem with both of my SS's - found the same problem on both and was able to fix with ease.

My problem was that one of the AAA batteries in the charger wasn't connecting with the charger's circuit. To be specific, it was the positive terminal on the second battery from the left (on both chargers). To fix, I used a pocket knife to wedge under the metal blade that makes up the charger circuit, then shoved the end of a toothpick under the metal to keep it wedged perminately. Works like a champ now.
