fullsize wheel mod

whats the advantage to doing the fullsize wheel mod? do the bigger wheels get better handling?

You will get a slight handling increase, but your turning radius will increase greatly. So far the best wheel mod I've done is pullback rims.

ive done 1 wheel mod to my MS sport, using DUB City wheels.

i'm thinking about doing a wheel mod but does the front end look funny with the bigger wheels since its higher off the ground

lower it

micro s2000,

lower the front..depending on the body you use, yu should have plenty of room up under there to accomdate the bigger rim and tire...i like lowering the front using a hard finger nail file...and filing the top of the existing tab hole....carefull to keep the cut clean..then use a "shim" of your preference ( i used a steel wire, it looks like an intercooler tube), to fill in the unused space on the now enlarged tab hole

actually doing the full-size wheel mod makings turning radius smaller because the tire snaggs on the body which causes one wheel not to move as freely while the other can causing sharper turns. Outta all of my bits my favorite is my skyline with zipzap rims and tires because it handles alot better.

They just came out with some new kit racers here in Japan. They are called bit racers here though. They have some different rims that I think look pretty darn good. I just put a pair on the lambo super (red one).

Also, I've been looking for a good, cheap toy car like hot wheels or something that I could cut off some rims and throw them on bits. Any body done that?

my two cents worth..well 3 cent including postage

when i did the full size mod to my bit..it rubbed the body a lil wheni cornered..so i found out exactly where it was rubbing and used a blade to "shave" away a little bit of the body....now it corners like a gokart....try sand paper if ya dont have a steady hand..its a little more leaniant toward mistakes....good luck
