This mod is kinda stupid but,

To add longer run time to your microsizer just double charge it.

geofroley 11-05-2003 05:56 PM

You might wanna be careful with that one on stock NiCd's.

Comrade_Boris 11-05-2003 06:25 PM

i do that one every time i charge anyway........ :) me likes racing......

Softspike321 11-05-2003 07:21 PM

i wouldnt worry about overcharging, mine take 3 charges just to get warm, which is a sign of the batts being fully charged. just dont go crazy!!:Dppssssttttt...double charging takes a minute and a half lol!!!:p

Snow 11-06-2003 01:01 PM

Crap, man. I charge mine 4 or 5 times in a row. It doesn't hurt anything.

Spiral Antenna

Take a screw driver or any small long object thinner than a pencil and round.
wrap ur antenna tight around the screw driver(or any round long object) wait about 30 sec. leave it in the shaped around the stick and pull the stick out.
now pull ur antenna into desired lengh.

Done LOL

Wierd thing but cute hahahha !

Softspike321 11-06-2003 07:16 PM

Hey snow,

You'll lose a lot of battery life if you keep doing that. Try to keep it to 2-3.

Snow 11-06-2003 07:53 PM

Oh poo. Thanks for the heads up, though.:)

Sure;)

DraGula 11-06-2003 08:58 PM

maybe charging my dual for 3 mins. at 9v wasnt such a good idea... ran for bout 45 minutes though!
anyway, Weight Reduction Mod: take exacto knife and car. cut for about one minute. Remember to cut AWAY from your other hand, or else wear gloves. Note miniscule longer run time and more speed.

Aligning the antena like a "real" car

1. Take a screw driver (Phillips) and twist it back and forth overtop where you want your new antena to come out of.

Poke antenna through the hole and your done.

ROFL

strider_mt2k 11-17-2003 06:50 AM

Popping in a fast motor and rear takes about a minute.

Peeling the crappy stickers off of a clone takes about a minute.
(If you have some gunk-off)

viperdout 11-18-2003 04:23 PM

If you have a soldering iron, there is a capacitor on the circuit board that limits travel. see http://tinyrc.com/qfm/racing/mod_08.htm#29 for details.

If you have a "Modifier", you can screw a nice big fat muffler onto your BCG. You need to take the motor clip and motor out. Using a small black screw that came with the modifier car, you can screw a muffler onto one of the two pre-existing hole on the back chasis of your BCG or clone. Looks hella tight and best of all, if you bought a modifier that came with two muffler, you can have twin exhaust coming out from behind. Each muffler should take you 20 seconds, 5 seconds for the motor, and two seconds for the motor clip. Putting back the body should take 5 seconds.

Total mod should take 20+20+5+2+5= 52 seconds.

Have fun

Norm 01-09-2004 01:28 AM

I tried doing the wheel thing once with a set of spare zz tires and found they rubbed when I turned. Have to shave away some body to do that one

Extending Range

1 Attachment(s)
Hi, my name is kyle and i just signed up for this website yesterday, because I enjoyed everything this website has to offer. I especially enjoyed the forums, and "how to do modifications" pages. So here is a big thank you to Tiny.

Now to bussiness........

This is a simple 1 minute mod dfor all bit char g, and microsizer's that will increase your cars range.....

1.) Take off the axle, and spur gears.
2.) Take off the plastic cover the protects the circuit board.
3.) Tilt the circuit board up so that you can see the wires and battery underneath.
4.) Find the antenna, ( white flexible wire) now gently without harming any other wires, untie the knot in the wire. (see picture below for help)
5.) Replace the plastic cover, and make sure that there aren't any snags.
6.) Now because the wire is longer you may want to spiral it around a paperclip or something for support.

Shattered Windows

The first one on here was the black tape window tinting, I personally like the shattered glass look...

Krinkle up some tinfoil and tape it tight to the windows.

betty.k 02-02-2004 07:23 AM

take the shell off. it's about 1/4 of the total weight of stock bits. increases take off and top speed!:blift:
