i bought an lxx and was haveing a prob with the idler gear it was loose and wobbeld around a bunch so i took an old idler gear and cut the part that makes contact with the axel off and then i cut off all the teeth and stuck it on before my idler gear kind of like a shim so everything is held in place tight now. As for the axel not snapping in right if you heat up an exacto knife or razor blade and cut the plastic in front of where the axel snaps in towards the front of the car it will close the hole enough to hold the axel tight.
