Since when your car is going, its going to drain the battery, and therefore, your lights will be dimmer, then, when you coast, which is partically like braking, the LEDs would be their brightest, simulating the brake lights.......

Have you actually read my comments??? Of course the lights are connected to the car's 1.2V battery...... The DC converter gives me a 3V -> 5V range from a single 1.2V battery....... |
