Happy Easter! Hope you all had a wonderful Easter Break. Black SE wheelsets are out of stock. EJ Lozano has sent an MPG video of the Tomy controller ringtone mod, and it appears genuine, as the ringtone only plays when a button is depressed, and he does a stutter type effect to the button to show it isnt background music. Pretty cool. Smart Char-Gs and Z-cars also have this feature built into thier controllers, but they play an engine reving sound instead. Perhaps both controllers are using similar PCBs or circuitry?

AutoModellista Single Booster Car sets have finally been added to the store. We have added Chrome Wheelsets as well. Tomica is releasing a 1/64 scale RC with digi-propo controls. Tomica as opposed to Tomy (though the same company) produces the famous die-cast and plastic scale model cars, so this offering should be top-notch. The product will compete directly against the same class of RC as the Yokomo Petit Maru. Perfection brand accessories have released a 200mah NiMH cell and a gold heatsink. While most of Perfection's products are similar to Tomys, these two are unique.

3.8 Perfection Motors are now in stock, in addition to the original OEM 3.8 Pink-Slip Rotor. The LXX brand AutoModellista Single-Car Booster Sets will be posted soon. The new Tomy BitChar-G VW Beetles have been released. They come in yellow and they look GREAT! Unlike most Bits which are "Kawai" (cutesified) this one actually looks scale, simply because its real design looks "Kawai" already!

Tomy Axle Gear Sets & Drift/Stabius Sets, Rare-earth magnets, and all Springs are back in stock. All spare parts are back in stock as well, including all 4 frequencies. Just received the new 3.8 Perfection motors and Lxx AutoMod Single Booster Sets, and will post those soon.

One of our readers (E. Lozano) wrote us telling us that doing the capacitor mod on a 4ch controller activated a ringtone! Celine Dions Titanic plays when charging the car and pressing any button!? If anyone else has experienced or can duplicate this mod let us know. Props to E. Lozano for an interesting claim. Lastly, Radio Shack of Canada now sells IR Bit Clones for $19.99. Now theres a cheap way to convert to IR and start using your DigiQ gun controllers. Just swap PCBs and mount the IR Port thru the rear window vent. Loads cheaper than the Tapspring version.

150mah NiMH rechargable cells back in stock! BitChar-G axle gear and Stabius (suspension) set are in low supply. Tomy XP300 springs are temporarily out of stock, but we still have ample supply of gold and silver plated springs. Rare-earth magnet re-stock due next week.

Would you believe after two months we've finally posted the spare parts in the online store! Also, the Tomy special edition car kits have been relocated to the last page of the store. We are still back-ordered on the 150mah NiMH cells. Unfortunately our supplier is vague on the transit time, but we estimate arrival within 10 days at the most.

The manufacturer of the 3.8 motors have finally returned thier 3.8 motor color to Pink. We've received this new stock, and we're selling the PINK 3.8 motors again! They temporarily produced yellow 3.8's (I assume because of a temporary shortage in Pink endbells) but we insisted they return to pink ASAP. For those who dont know, these are the original 3.8 Pink-Slip Rotors which are easily identified by the trademark Pink Endbell. Though various colors of copycat 3.8 motors followed shortly after, the pink 3.8 is the original.

Happy New Year! Rare-earth magnets and 3.8 motors are back in stock. The manufacturer of the 3.8's have changed the motor (endbell) color to yellow. It is unclear whether this change is temporary or permanent, however please be assured that these are genuine 3.8's. We will liquidate our remaining stock of 120mah NiMH's for $2.00 each. We will post the clearance item soon. All springs are out of stock: restock due 1/10.

Brand new 150mah NiMH cells are now in stock! These are the highest capacity rechargable cells available for the BitChar-G! These cells require a minimum of 3-4 consecutive charges to "peak" (fully charge). If you have a (charge) Timing Capacitor installed, then you only need two consecutive charges to peak. Our SE Auto Modellista , Skyline History & Initial D car kits will be available by New years. We are still busy celebrating the holidays! Happy New year everyone!
