Steering/Control (Score: 3)

Out of the Box this Xmod handled decently. The steeering feels smooth, but some trim was necessary to get it to drive in a straight line (standard procedure for just about any new RC car). Unfortunately though my car has uneven steering range...In other words, it makes much tighter left-hand turns versus right.

Controller (Score: 4)

It's portable, it's light, it's got a good set of options and it's ambidextrous.

Styling & Looks (Score: 5)

RadioShack has a SOLID winner here! The Stock setup looks great and if you opted for a Body Kit you've got a HOT looking car! They've made the Hood, Front & Read Bumper, Side-Skirts and Mirrors all interchangable parts. Which makes for all kinds of Body Mod possibilities. Kudos to RadioShack for this.

Portability (Score: 5)

When was the last time you bought something where the Packaging was also the Carrying Case? Well, this is another smooth move on RadioShack's part! The case/package is lightweight and comes with already-shaped foam protection and the Controller folds down with an Antenna holding-slot in the back...Nice!

Packaging (Score: 3)

RadioShack put more effort into the Functionality of the packaging, than looks (in my opinion). Still not bad though.

Speed (Score: 3)
The Stock Acura RSX comes with a 26,000RPM motor with an 8-tooth motor pinion gear...Which means you're going to need some space in order for this car to get up to full speed.

Overall Score: 5
The Steering isn't true 'Propo' (something like 14-16 steps or turning from center to right/left) and on mine the steering range is off between left and right. That being said, 14-16 steps is plenty enough for it to be smooth and I believe with some tweaking the steering range problem can be fixed.

Everything else about this kit is great and anyone that loves great looks in their cars will LOVE the options available with XMods. Add the fact that these cars have tons of Mod options (like Lights, Motors, Tires and All-Wheel-Drive) and I'd say if you want one you'd better HURRY cause the Holidays are coming and these things are going to GO!
