Are the 49mhz and the 27mhz different cars?

Ive recently bought a microsizer and i got a white skyline, the 49mhz model. I remeber seeing stuff on the net about turbo or high boost 27mhz cars. Im not sure what it means.

Also are Bit Charge - G's and Microsizers fully compatible with each other. i mean there has to be some expetions but for light kits ect.

Hmmm, perhaps what you read about are the Special Edition cars...That come with 2.6motors.

Check out the catalog of what's what at QFM, HERE

They are 100% compatible...Since they're EXACTLY the same cars.

what you're talking about is the Tomy Bit Char-G booster machine set. these machine sets come with a boost feature that makes your car go faster when you press the action button on the 4 frequency universal controller. they will never sell it here cuz like that other thread said, 35mhz and 57mhz is illegal here according to FCC. the booster machine sets come in all 4 frequency and they have clear skyline body

Im confused now?
Ok, are they the slightest bit difference but it dosent matter cause there almost exacly the same?

Bit Char-G's and Microsizers are the same, they just changed the name for us Americans because we are too dumb to figure out that a "Bit Char-G" is not part of your complete breakfast. "I like to pour milk over mine and throw in a few slices of banana!"

Microsizers are only available in 2 frequencies, because that is all the FCC will allow them. Bit Char-G's are available in 6 frequencies, but the FCC doesn't like that and they are pressuring American retailers not to carry the "ODD" frequencies, so get 'em while they're hot.

Hmmm, not sure where you're getting hung up with this, let's try it this way...

The Bit Char-G and MicroSizer are BOTH made by Tomy. Probably on the exact same assembly line. Tomy has an agreement with Hobbico to manufacture the 27MHz and 49MHz models for the US.

Tomy produces the cars (which are EXACTLY the same as the Bit Char-G), and ships them here to the US. Then Hobbico takes those cars and marks them as MicroSizers.

...So let me repeat my last statement...Bit Char-G and MicroSizers are 100% Compatible because they are EXACTLY the same cars.

Righto then thanks for that.

Why are the 'odd' BCG's hot property?

do the odd frequencies give a better signal or is it just good to have one cause there rare?

The "Odd" (Non-American) frequencies are not rare for now, but soon there will be a flow of 27 and 49 mhz (American frequencies) cars readily available. As your friends start buying up these 2 frequencies, it will be nice to have some on the "Odd" frequencies so you can run more than 2 cars at a time.
