What do you think about this track idea?

I have an idea for an interlocking track system with unlimited potential. It's just in my head at the moment (I thought of it a few minutes ago while on the can). The basic kit would be 4' X 4' and would have 1' X 1' tiles (90 deg turns, straights, and crosses) with guard rails throughout. But with my idea, the basic kits would be able to be tiled, therefore creating a track of unlimited size. No fancy trees or anything of that sort, just a customizable, rockin little track system to race your buds.

I have an idea of what I want to use for most of the materials but still have to figure some stuff out. What's the best paint to use for a bit track? How about guard rail material? I have to spend a few hours in my local Lowes/HD to figure these things out unless anyone has some suggestions.

I think I can make the basic kit for under 50 bucks. I can't wait to get started!

So, what do yall think?
