Body Weight
I did some 1/4 mile speed testing with a body on the car, and without, just for the heck of it.
Stock SE, Purple Motor, red gears, red axle:
No Body:
2.475
2.535
2.463
Average ETA 2.491
With a body (average body weight is 7.5 grams):
2.794
2.755
2.765
Average ETA 2.771
Looks like running a body will cost you 3/10th's on the strip. Weight DOES matter. It also negatively affects handling, I'm guessing the added weight on the front wheels increases it's propensity to veer off to one side or the other, which sucks when trying to go straight. Also, while not tested, I'm pretty sure the higher the RPM motor you run, the more the added weight of a body will slow you down.
