tired of people saying NOS
NOS is just a brandname of Nitrous Oxide. Thats what it really is Nitrous Oxide or Nitro for short not NOS, NOS is a brand made by HOLLY. There are other brands such as VENOM, ZEX, and ELDRILOCK. So stop saying NOS because thats not what its called it is just a famous brand because of the movie "The Fast and The Furious"

People are saying NOS because of how the engine has been described in the fast and furious ZZ set. They actually call it the NOS motor...
They don't call it a 2.4 / 2.6 or whatever. They say the NOS motor. So you may have to endure the NOS brand as the ZZ fast motor name.

ps. NOS NOS NOS NOS! jk

NOS
Well, it is the name for one of the manufacturers nitrous oxide. But even before the Fast and the Furious was released in theaters, I know a lot of people who label it as NOS. Maybe its because that it is much easier to say NOS than Nitro. Its has only one syllable basically so NOS, NOS, NOS. I'll admit, I use the word NOS rather than nitro or nitrous oxide, but I'm aware that there were different companies who manufacture Nitrous Oxides. They manufacture their own Nitrous Oxide kits to compete in the market where NOS (excuse me akina) has a lot of back for buck (I'm planning to stay away from it, I've heard about bad experiences with Nitro).
Oh, and this reminds me. This requires some good timing, if you're driving around with your friends and you reach a traffic light stop, time it so the second the light turns green, the driver pretends to hit/flip a button and everyone else in the car jerks back as though as the car has been equiped with nitrous. Very funny indeed.
NOS (sorry)

NAWZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
My MS has two of the big ones!!!!!!!!!!
Personally the few times I ever talk about nitrous oxide I don't usually say NOS. But even when I hear others say it I know what they mean so its kind of trivial. If someone is ignorant and uses the term all the time without knowing that NOS is a brand name, then thats their problem and not mine. I could careless.

Now back in the day I used "NOS" the brand and refered to it as such just like if I use any of the other brands on the market, or could it be said "they use the bottle" like I have heard , it is all trivial. I agree that the general masses refer to Nitrous as NOS but I think that if you know better whats the point to complaining. I think it is one of those battles that are as old as Ford VS Chevy.
