Mini Cooper Bit Char-g = A Lie
Everyone who knew that the Bit Char-g Mini Cooper is supposed to be released soon, then he should better forget it. 
It was known that the release date for the Mini Cooper was the 26th of November.
It was also known that its code would be G-26.
Till yesterday at the list of HLJ under Tomy's Bits was the G-26 Mini Cooper.
Just a while a go I checked for another time to Hobby Link, to see if the Mini Cooper was available at last.
And for my surprise I saw the G-26 instead of Mini Cooper to be a Yellow VW Beetle and not a sign of the Mini Cooper.
I don't know if that Mini Cooper was a lie from Tomy of if it will be available at the future.
The only thing that I know is that the G-26 is a Yellow VW Beetle and that
there isn't any Mini Cooper product anymore at the HLJ's list under Tomy.

doesnt mean it was a "lie" you should correct the heading, ever thought that someone who posts the future release notes on HLJ could have made an incident and gotten it switched up....

What is my mistake?
Have you ever heard anything official from Tomy about the Mini Cooper?
Even today I checked Tomy's official site and there wasn't anything refered to Mini Cooper.
The only proof we had about that car was that image with a rough model of a Mini Cooper.
Probably there will be a future release but who knows when. 
The point is that the on the 26th of November they release a product with the code G-26 but that wasn't the Mini Cooper as it should be.

oh that's unfortunate. If it's a beetle, it better be a rsi, or this is just another waste of a body/kit by making hippie mobiles and such other stuff i may not mention.

its not a "lie" if you checked HLJ before for the pic. you'll notice that the pic is actually from a hobby show in japan. It was a prototype like the old pic they had for the battle set. I guess they had trouble getting the licensing or they changed their mind....thats funny cuz i just cancelled my order of mini cooper last week because i have too many bodies and chassis

Of course its not the end of my life. 
You see for 2 months I was waiting for that Cooper and Im dissapointed now.
I heard that Tomy will release new Bit cars but without the controller. That means that will be cheaper. 
I already have 7 controllers supporting all the frequencies available.
I also heard that Tomy will release a new series like the Choro Q pull back cars but the bodies will be interchangable with the Bits.
But no words for the Mini Cooper.

Mini Cooper & Beetle
I don't know how true this is but....
I heard from someone in the RC business IN Japan that the Mini Cooper (G-26) AND the VW Beetle (G-27) ARE scheduled to be released (in Japan) on 27 Feb 2003.
In fact, he has already placed an order for his business.
(I'm crossing my fingers... I want both!  )
Has anyone else heard anything?!?!?

there will be a bunch of new pullback cars where the shells will be interchangeable with bits, a trueno, a NSX-R, 2000GTR, R34 in blue, R32 in red and im not sure about the VW beetle

Drive WRX go 2 www.hlj.com then go to the TOMY page and look under BCG, at the bottom of thecars page it will say the new cars and will have some pics. can i see a pic of the WRX in your avatar it looks sweet
