Futaba 2PL and Mini-X Rx

I just picked up a Futaba 2PL Tx so I could use it for both my mini-x and the DTM SP I'm building now. It works great with the Rx that comes with it, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work with the Mini-X Rx. I don't have any others to test, but I verified that the Mini-X Rx still works with the Futaba T2PC Tx I got from tiny with my X. Futaba makes both, they're both 27MHz AM and I've tried both sets of crystals (mini-x xtals and the ones that came with the 2pl). Anyone have an idea why it might not be working? Thanks.

Did you try the Futaba 2PL RX with the Futaba T2PC TX?

Could help to narrow or broaden the search.

Duh, good call. I'll let you know.

EDIT: Tested out the Rx that came with the 2PL with the T2PC Tx and it worked fine. There must be something funny about the mini-x Rx? Anyone have an idea why a Tx from the same company wouldn't work on it? I hear 27MHz AM is the most fault tolerant of the frequencies too...
