Talking Impulse buy

Here's what I bought a while ago
I honestly don't know why, maybe because I couldn't afford one when they were new, maybe I just got a horribly good deal

Yeah I would have a hard time also. I have the 962C but the 961 is also cool. I also have the Ford Probe but I don't like it. I would keep which ever one has the longest wheelbase assuming it will handel better

Heh.. I sold the Probe didn't like it either.
The wheelbase issue is part of the problem.... the 961 would look nicer, but its short wheelbase... on the other hand the 962C is LWB but doesn't look so nice.. darn

"RR" ?
In my oppinion the tamtech was on the market 15 years too early, if they had introduced them around the same time with mini-z kyosho would have had a run for they money.
I have not assembled nor ran my tamtechs yet. The original electronics retail here for about the same as a mini-z ready set.

W-Tone

You are not alone

My set was a 961 sealed in the box with TX, RX, Battery and charger.
Ferrari Testarossa, sealed in box car kit with motor only
Lambo Countach S5000 bodyshell sealed in box
Ferrari Testarossa bodyshell sealed in box
12V Quick charger
Rear tire set sealed
Lancia GTP decals and Porsche GTP decals sealed
Spare GTP chassis (Although I am looking for a GTP car)

Other items bough through e-Bay:

TamPack battery - new in box
Spare wheel set - sealed
Ford Mustang Probe bodyshell and decals - new in box
Porsche 961 decals - sealed

Bidding on:

RX Set - expensive!
Anything that catches my attention

Looking for:

New in box Tamtech Formula-1
New in box Tamtech GTP car
Anything else for Tamtechs worth buying

W-Tone, Tamtechs are impressive! Agreed?

I bought my Tamtech back when they first came out.. I still have the 962 (Well... just the chassis and electronics)... I can't believe that, with all the re-releases Tamiya is putting out that they are leaving out the Tamtech.... they did the grasshopper, the frog, the wild willy, the Mercedes 190E, CLod buster and a host of others recently....

They were great and handled on rails
