rc? it's not that the rs brand bearings are 'bad', it's a matter of quality. mini-zracer dry bearings, like i stated earlier, are among the best in quality for mini-z's. it turns out that the xmod uses the same size, or atleast one of them and for those that want to get the best performance, your more likely to pay for the best quality parts.

We are working it. We want to develop the perfect bearing specifically for the Xmod.

any word on these? I really want the bearings but I don't think I can wait too much longer. Are the bearings that I posted a link to above closed or open like the RS ones?

Duratrax Bearings
I tried the Duratrax 3x6x2.3 sealed bearings that TowerHobbies sells for the Mini-Z They work pretty well over all, but are too wide to run without modding. The steering would bind up with the AWD kit installed and I had to shave some plastic off the shorter half of the rear axle to keep it from binding as well. I've had them in for a couple of weeks and they haven't needed adjusting yet. Just curious if these are what you guys are looking into as I could not find any sealed 3x6x2 sealed bearings on the web.

i'm so weak, i finally gave in and got the RS bearings. I still have another xmod to buy bearings for, so hopefully these will finally become available.
