kyosho dnano track available

here the new kyosho track plus timing system

http://www.kyosho.de/?page=shop/flyp...duct_id=20538#

http://www.kyosho.de/?page=shop/flyp...oduct_id=20117

the track doesn,t look good ,when you see the gap between 2 tiles , it looks like your dnano will get airborne when you hit it only the middle of 2 tiles look flat
and,
not normal how much the timing system kost ,i will never ever by it for private use

i dont think the car will become airborne from the gaps. Its molded part so the fit should be pretty good. You can use sticky tape to level the surface.
I'd worry more about the barriers as they seem to be hard and may damage the bodywork.

i doubt the tile gaps are any more perceptible than those of the realtracks tiles. i've posted pictures of these.

just my opinion based on the images, it looks like a cheap version of realtracks product. i can't exactly see the surface texture but it doesn't look impressive.

i agree with loopy, those hard plastic rails are going to do damage but likely not as bad as one would think. for one, being plastic, the cars will slide off the rails better than being caught on foam rails. this will lead to less secondary collisions. rcp has produced a plastic rail liner that works very well in providing a smooth surface for cars to deflect and still soft with the foam backing to cushion impacts.

the lane width looks fairly limiting as well.i think the 24" realtracks tiles were a good width for the dnano. does it say how wide these are?

Pardon me, but that layout look's boring. It look's like it would be fun for maybe one hour, but then you'd get tired of it. Would like to see more layout's. At least with the RCP, there are lot's of options. Any idea if this track can have more layout designs?

it's clearly modular in the same manor realtraks and rcp is, you can see the interlocking feature in the pictures.

Sorry if this is obvious somewhere else, but do you sell your track material, or can you explain to us your DIY method? The track looks great from pictures but I don't see anything for sale on your website. I imagine it's pretty tough to sell things like modular track packs in Thailand, so forgive what may be a stupid question, but I'm looking into DIY track-making and looking for advice.

#1... what's DIY?
#2... our whole biz started with the idea of selling tracks but its not economical and there's already a competent, experienced & economic option in RCP (we use a similar material but i doubt its the same).
#3... we ordered our rubber tiles and they're very large (about 4 times as large as RCP tiles) because its a permanant setup. no storing, minimal moving but very modular. we change a 32 sq. meter layout in about 3-4 hours

any other questions, feel free to hit me up by e-mail or visit the site for complete & comprehensive info

Actually, mods, this would be a good idea for it's own section... a DIY subforum. I can see people discussing all of the various flavors like NanoTrax, Repugol, etc. and we could move threads there
