Will All Gen ! Bodies Work On Evo
ok i have heard alot about the evos but im still not entirely sure if the gen 1 bodies work on the evo. like i have an rsx and a supra. i am prolly gonna be buying an evo within the next few days and plan on putting the old bodies on there. i also wanna but a skyline body (my dream car )and it would be really cool if that fit on the evo but will it fit well or jus kinda sit on top or what? really apreciate the info in advance!!

all u have to do is replace the plastic clip and the front peice. and your supra and if u get a skyline would fit perfectally.as for the acura,i have one on my evo chassi when i wanna give my lancer a brake.the only thing with the acuras(nsx and rsx)is that there the shortest bodies. so u have to shorten the chassi a bit, no biggey tho i think u have to take our 5 screws.so ALL the gen 1 fit on the evos.but the evo chassis come in two lengths(mustang and g35 are slightly longer)those two come with an extra spacer giving there chassi potentialy 4 lengths while the lancer and firebird chassis are shorter and only have two lenths.the last couple things may not mean much to u but either way, i want a mustang body and cant put one on my lancer chassi without the spacer.just in case u were wondering.

the spacer is right in front of the motor just unscrew a few screws move the motor and its mount forward and replace the screws. then take the clear clip from the starter kit put it on the gen1 body correctly and u can just clip it onto the evo chassis

Is there some unwritten law where new people go through every page of the forums and find something old to bump?

No, but I think there is an unwritten one that says, a ''senior member'' must always chew out a newb for bumping an old topic...
