how do you hook up a 180 motor
ive got a ff-180ph motor and i was wondering how to connect it to my xmod i have a civic if that makes any difference ive dont the SB, SB hybrid swaps but the 180 doesnt have room for the end cap so i was thinking i just need to hook up the red and black wires directly from the clip to the motor without the rest fo the electronics is that true? thatnks for any help in advance

You need to remove the front motor mount, and solder on a connector from an XMods motor.

Yes you would, however keep in mind, if you wire it backwards the car will respond backwards to the remote. So if you pull the trigger and the car goes in reverse, you will need to flip the wires around then.

this is weird... first spinbrush motors, now shaver motors......
i don't think a shaver motor will have a lot o tourque (sp), though... because it doesnt really need a lot of power.

You never know.
What kind is it out of, exactly? It's kind of weird how well-adapted the Sb is to XMODS, maybe there are all kinds of other applicances we haven't discovered yet.

A dremel motor would just fly, lots of torque and high speed but I think they are pretty big. I think mine must be a lot bigger than a 180
